This pancheon bowl worked well. It was fired right above the firebosx in the hottest part of the kiln. I'm interested in the way that the clay pips have left marks around the rim - I want to experiment with this 'flame resist'.
One of the puzzle jugs. What do I have to do to get this rich glaze effect throughout the kiln?

Some utter beauties ther Doug. Some of that glaze is just so yummy. Tis a bugger and a half about teh bubbled ones though. These are stunners though.
And...you've got more snow tahn we have!
totally, totally yum puzzle jug doug, yep it would be great to have all come out that well, hopefully answers soon...maybe the bottle kiln design??

Thanks chaps and chapesses. There was some good stuff in there - well stuff I'm pleased with anyway. I think a lot of the poroblem is damp getting into one of the fireboxes, so diggin drains is in order asap. Saggars is a good plan I think Dan. I've just got hold got of some so I'll try them out in the next firing.
